The criminal complaints said that Timothy James Hilgedick, 24, and Dominic Gene Johnson Carlson, 18, had tried to conduct a drug transaction on Sunday. But apparently, the deal went bad, and the purchasers then began chasing the men around town.

According to the complaint, later on, Hilgedick asked Carlson if he wanted to shoot up a house, since he had a BB gun.

Hilgedick was the one, according to authorities, who knew the address of the police officer. He gave the directions to Carlson, investigators said.

With Carlson allegedly behind the wheel, Hilgedick then fired the BB pistol at the home and squad car six to seven times.

Then, after speeding away, they thought they were being pursued by someone from the initial drug deal, and fled on foot.

According to the courts, bail was set for both men at $100,000 with conditions.  Hilgedick was held without bail on a probation violation in an unrelated matter.

They will both be in court on Monday at 9am.
