A different kind of Thanksgiving tradition came alive with the annual Thanksgiving race, the Gobble Gallup.

Runners, as young as seven and under, joined others to run three different races to kick off Thanksgiving.

There was the Gobble Gallup 5K, which spans across Superior Street, the "Tough Turkey" one miler and the quarter mile Gobble Giddy-Up for the kids.

All proceeds benefit second harvest northern food bank
