Gov. Dayton Talks with Local Leaders on Iron Range

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton traveled to the Iron Range on Wednesday night to meet with a group of local Mayors in Eveleth.

The meeting was closed to the press.

Dayton also provided remarks at the Range Association of Municipalities and Schools (RAMS) Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Mt. Iron Community Center. Dayton says he wants to support the range and the people.  

"They're great people. Rangers are very, very special people," Dayton said. "The vitality of the range is hugely important to this region and hugely important to the entire state," he said.
