Dana Wachs is running as a Democrat.  He's worked as a lawyer and currently represents the 91st District in the Wisconsin State Assembly.

He said he's focusing on issues like affordable healthcare, developing the middle class, and improving education.

"We need to get back to concentrating on what government is for," Wachs said. "Government is there to help regular folks in their lives, they're there to provide infrastructure so that businesses can thrive and regular folks can make an income.

Incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker is running for a third term against two other Republican candidates, while Wachs is among 14 Democrats who have declared they're running for the democratic nomination.
