According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, officers targeted a rail container bound for Ranier last month. Inside, they said they found 355 home theater speaker systems, which allegedly had counterfeit markings. Officers seized the items.

They had a suggested retail price of $990,415.

"Counterfeiting adversely affects lawful rights holders of their original ideas and the ability to make a profit from them," said Anthony Jackson, International Falls Port Director.
