1400 coats came in from the community this year, for the 16th annual Coats for Kids Drive. And on Wednesday, people started selecting coats to keep them warm, at the Salvation Army in Superior.

Benna Ford has spearheaded this event. Owner Pat Ringold said it's been really neat to see the next generation give back. "I talk to the kids who come into the dealership. They tell me they are dropping coats off for somebody else. That starts the mentoring, and continues it back up."

The Salvation Army is grateful for the partnership.

The distribution will also take place on Thursday from 10am-4pm.
