A Duluth-made Cirrus aircraft went down in California yesterday. The Palo Verde valley Times reporting the Cirrus SR-22 had engine trouble. It came down in a field north of Blythe, California.

A photo taken at the scene shows the parachute system was deployed. The paper reports a man and woman on board walked away with no injuries.
