They launched their 2017 Christmas Red Kettle season with the Red Kettle Karnival at Bentleyville "Tour of Lights."

There was live music, cookies and hot cocoa, and different organizations there to celebrate, including the YMCA, Glensheen, and the North Shore Railroad Museum.

The event was no-charge, but people could donate two-non-perishable food items or a toy for the Salvation Army's Christmas giveaway.

Bentleyville is considered the largest free walk-through light display.   The centerpiece Bentleyville tree is outfitted with 150,000 computer-controlled LED lights.

Bentleyville will be open from November 18 through December 26.
