There will be a variety of community events, educational workshops and family-friendly bike rides to show you that winter biking is a fun activity to be involved in. The events are sponsored by Zeitgeist.

“Biking in winter helps me embrace the cold! In and out of a car in the winter is cold! Standing and waiting for the bus is cold! However, once I get moving on my bike, winter feels a little less cold,” Tom Beery of Duluth Bikes, one of the community partner organizations said in a press release. “It helps me participate in winter versus just spectate.”
