TWO HARBORS, Minn. -
People with ties to Two Harbors came from all over the country to the 26th annual Heritage Days on Friday, July 7.
"It's just so cohesive in the community. It brings everybody together. Everybody has a good time," said Cheryl Sundstrom, Chairperson of Two Harbors Heritage Days.
Sundstrom has been the chairperson of the event for the past 6 years.
On Friday, July 7 there was a golf tournament and a 5K run.
There were also both food and crafts vendors at the event on Friday, along with a live performance from The Northwood's Band and street dancing.
The band made their first appearance last year at the event, and Sundstrom wanted to bring them back as she said they are a crowd favorite.
"All the guys are just absolutely loved by everybody around. We just love having them," said Sundstrom.
On Saturday, July 8 there is going to be a parade at 1:00 p.m. There are also scheduled helicopter rides, and the Big Time Jazz Orchestra on Saturday night.
Sundstrom described Heritage Days as the biggest economic boom to Two Harbors of the year.
Heritage Days will run till Sunday, July 9.
