It was the annual Twin Ports Thanksgiving buffet. Two thousand two hundred pounds of turkey arrived and were unloaded. In the next few days, hundreds of volunteers will get them, along with all the fixings. The food will be readyd and waiting for about five thousand hungry people.

DULUTH - It is a St. Scholastica tradition, and school president Collette Geary says it's been a great experience.
"Being a part of the thanksgiving buffet gives me a view into what community is about. A really special opportunity." Geary said, "People come together for one another. Sense of community is really strong here. A sense of caring for each other. It's really great to be part of and we're proud of the college's role in this for many years."

The event on Thanksgiving next Thursday is from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
