PACER Center will offer “How Parents Can Effectively Communicate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team,” a free workshop for parents and professionals.

This interactive workshop will help parents build effective communication skills with members of their child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) team. The information will help parents understand if they are effective when advocating for their child at IEP meetings, and if they are able to ask clarifying questions or speak up when they disagree with what the school is proposing.

This event is funded in part by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education.

To register to attend this free workshop, contact PACER Center at (952) 838-9000 or (800) 537-2237 (toll free), or visit
