Duluth Citizen Expresses Concern Over Furniture on Skyline Parkway

DULUTH - A concerned Duluth citizen told Eyewitness News on Tuesday about furniture that was being dumped on Skyline Parkway.

Gene Fremling says there were two box springs, two mattresses, and a sectional sofa located on 13th Street and 25th Avenue in Lincoln Park. He is hoping the person responsible is caught.

"It's a shame to come down and see this stuff on the side of the road," said Fremling. "I hope they get about $1,000 fine," he said.

Fremling says that he has seen small objects like vacuum cleaners on the side of the road, but that it is the first time seeing large objects like mattresses.
