Minnesota... it's the State of Hockey.  So it's no surprise that the northern Minnesota high school hockey community has made a name for themselves in this popular sport. However, Northland teams have also become known for the most notable luscious locks at tournament time.

We asked viewers to vote - and we have a winner!  Congratulations to Greenways #10 Cameron Lantz. Cameron was voted Best Hockey Hair for the Section 7A Championships. Cameron had quite a game, scoring a goal with .01 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 4-4.  Cameron is a Junior defenseman. He scored 6 goals during the regular season.

Cameron will receive one (1) $50 Sven & Ole’s Gift Certificate; one (1) $50 Visa Gift Card, and a $500.00 donation to the charity of their choice.

Section 7A Hockey Hair Flow

Another player will be crowned the 7AA Hockey Best Hockey Hair Flow tonight.  Cast your vote for the player with the best hockey-do on the Contest page at
