Feds Search for Fake Merchandise Ahead of Super Bowl LII

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - U.S. Custom and Border Protection agents inspected for counterfeit sports merchandise ahead of Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis on Monday.

Every year, agents aim to seize fake jerseys, caps and other memorabilia violating intellectual copyright and property rights ahead of the event.

The agency plays an important role in economic security, according to its office of Public Affairs Visual Communications Division.

Sunday's game will take place at the U.S. Bank Stadium between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.
