The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says there is no threat to the public after a Canadian National employee was possibly exposed to liquid propane vapors Thursday morning.

The incident happened at around 9:15 at the Proctor railyards.  The sheriff's office says there is no leak.

The employee may have been exposed to LP vapors while the product was being transferred from a bulk storage tank.  The Hermantown and Proctor fire departments conducted air quality tests to confirm that there is no leak.

The worker was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
