88-Year-Old Grand Rapids Man Injured in Car-Deer Crash

An 88-year-old Grand Rapids, Minn., man was injured when his car hit a deer on Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol said Richard Korte was driving east on Highway 210 and County Road 25 in Crow Wing County when a deer started to cross the road. According to troopers, the deer hit the driver's side windshield and broke through it.

The accident happened just before 2 p.m. Troopers said Korte sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
