One Vehicle Accident Results in Arrest

A 40-year-old International Falls man was arrested for several alcohol offenses after a one-vehicle accident late Friday night near Tower, Minn., according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.

A 43-year-old female passenger, also of International Falls, was taken to the Virginia Regional Medical Center and treated for injuries, according to the county sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s Office reports the driver is expected to be charged with several alcohol violations. He was taken to the St. Louis County Jail in Virginia.

Officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Hwy. 77 and Lake Vermillion Reservation Road just after 11 p.m. Friday.
