Brittany is wrapping up her time here on Good Morning Northland, but before she goes, we wanted to take a look at some of our favorite Brittany moments.
She might be the very first person to greet you when you open your eyes, and she usually tells you what to expect with your day.
The word "morning" is considered the period of time between dawn and noon, and for the last two years in the northland, Brittany Falkers arrives at work well before dawn, and leaves after noon.
But today is Brittany's final day at WDIO. We'll miss her because of her compassionate character, thoughtful reporting, and let's not forget that catch phrase, "Thanks Ben."
Brittany grew up on a farm in Forest Lake, not far from the Twin Cities. Journalism brought her to the twin ports in 2012, into our news department, our community, and our hearts.
Away from the studio lights, Brittany enjoys shining a light on causes, from the Lion's Club Pancake Day to the Have a Heart, Help a Neigbor Fundraiser.
Then, there are times she takes it to a whole other level, high in the sky at the UW-Superior Ropes Course. And even higher yet, reppeling from a nine-story building.
Her next story will be in the Fox River Valley, where she'll join a TV station in Green Bay. Her dad, a Packer fan, is pretty pumped about that, and she's happy to keep the early hours. The new opporunity means new scenery, but don't worry, the big lake and your friends and viewers won't forget you.
