The Heritage Days annual parade drew a crowd of thousands Saturday in Two Harbors.

Many families set up lawn chairs a day early and kids lined the streets to grab candy being tossed from floats.

"There were chairs yesterday morning out at 11 that I'd seen," Rick Powell said. "It kind of speaks to the level of trust in this town where if my chair is here you better not move it and I trust that it's going to be here in the morning. That's kind of a comfortable thing for us."

Heritage Days ends tomorrow with more cannon firing, a pancake breakfast and local musicians.
