Earlier in the week, the city said it had a water sample indicated the presence E.Coli bacteria in the water supply, but officials say they got two samples back that indicate that the water is now safe to ingest.

According to the city, a water sample collected on June 18 indicated the presence of fecal coliform/e.coli bacteria in the water supply.

People with questions should call water/wastewater operator Mitchell Mesko at 715-274-2136.
