ATV Rider Killed in Iron County Crash

An ATV rider died in a crash on a northwestern Wisconsin trail Monday night, according to authorities.

The Iron County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened on Trail 77 in the City of Hurley. They said the ATV was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and that the operator was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.

The name of the victim is being withheld until the family is notified.
