Superior Police Investigate Drive-by Shooting

Superior police are investigating a drive-by shooting. Police said an unoccupied, parked vehicle was struck by the bullets early Monday morning.

According to a release, officers responded to a call of gunshots in the area of Harrison St. and Baxter Ave. at approximately 2:47 a.m.

Police said they found a parked vehicle in the area with damage from gun shots. The driver’s side had gunshot holes down the side of the vehicle and the door window was shot out.

The vehicle was parked and unoccupied at the time of the event, said police. The owner of the damaged vehicle has not yet been identified.
