Someone is getting creative with a can of spray paint in Duluth's East Hillside, but this artwork isn't legal.

An Eyewitness News reporter and photographer found graffiti in nearly a half dozen places along East 6th Street this week, and each time the paint said the same thing: "2.7.5."

We found the paint on a house, truck, signs, a bench and on the ground. A resident said he's concerned the graffiti could be gang-related, but the Duluth Police Department said there's no reason to believe that's the case yet.

If you see any graffiti, call the department's hotline at 218-730-5670.
