The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office introduced two new super-sniffing members of their team on Friday.

Diesel and Louie are replacing two K9s that are retiring. The two rookies are in week seven of a 12-week training. They came over from the Czech Republic and now have to learn English commands.

Deputy Sheriff Ben Fye is partnered up with Diesel. He said he's already proud of the dog's tracking ability.

"With narcotics as well as the tracking and apprehension, it's just an added tool that the sheriff's office has," Fye said. "A dog can go above and beyond what a human can do as far as running, and they have different senses that a human can't come close to having."

The dogs will be done with training and ready to hit the road on June 20.
