A former St. Louis County Public Works Dept. employee has been sentenced for possessing pornographic material involving a minor.

The criminal complaint alleges that 63-year-old Bruce Robert Hosking, of Cloquet, had five pornographic images on his work computer of girls between the ages of 6 and 12.

According to the criminal complaint, Hosking admitted to viewing the images on his work computer. Hosking says he knew that viewing the images was "wrong."

The complaint says Hosking told investigators that he had child images on a thumb drive that was also confiscated.

Hosking will spend five years on supervised probation and either 60 day in jail or a work release program.

Under his probation, Hosking will undergo a psycho sexual evaluation within two months and abide by all recommendations for treatment. He will also not be allowed to use internet-capable devises or have unsupervised contact with minors.
