17th Annual Brewfest Offers Countless Hoptions

Indecisive beer fans were in heaven on Saturday.

The 17th Annual Superior Jaycees Gitchee Gumee Brewfest took place at the University of Wisconsin Superior. More than 35 brewers from around the region offered samples of 120 different craft and micro beers. The annual event is a chance for regional brewers to meet the public.

Proceeds from the festival go to the Superior Jaycees, a nonprofit made up of people between the ages of 21 to 39, who devote their time to community service and leadership development.
