Esko Woman Pleads Guilty to 3 Felony Theft by Swindle Charges

An Esko woman has pleaded guilty to three felony counts of theft by swindle.

Denise Rae Forconi originally faced six charges for allegedly drafting unauthorized checks from Pine Ridge Homes in Cloquet, where authorities say she had been the head bookkeeper.

The amount of money in question was nearly $90,000

Forconi's sentencing is next month.
