Fraser Shipyards is coming off one of their busiest seasons in years.

Ten lakers wintered here, for various types of work.

The director of operations shared with the Propellor Club meeting Friday that working on big steel projects is the fun part of the job.

And something new and exciting on the horizon is the conversion of power on the boats to liquefied natural gas.

Tom Curelli also told the group that the new, three story office building on-site is making a difference for their employees.

And he reminded them they're adding 1,300 feet of new dock wall too.
