Heavy snow is causing some major traffic problems around the Northland.

There were 23 crashes in Duluth between 8:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Thursday, according to the Duluth Police Department. Meanwhile, the Minnesota State Patrol said they responded to eight other crashes, and 24 vehicles off the road between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. None of the accidents resulted in injuries.

Around 3:45 p.m., Eyewitness News saw dozens of vehicles stopped on Interstate 35 near Midway Road. Video shows semi trucks stopped at the front of the traffic jam, failing to get up a hill.
