Student with Knife Taken into Custody after Unity High School Fight

Duluth police say a 16-year-old was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after getting into an altercation with another student at Unity High School. 

Authorities say they responded just before 12:30 p.m. To the call of a fight between two 16-year-old male students.

Police say they confiscated a 6-inch buck knife from one of the students involved. The student found with the knife was brought to the Arrowhead Juvenile Center. 

Neither of the 16-year-olds required hospitalization. 

The investigation is ongoing.
