Authorities say a Chicago man and a Duluth woman have been charged in St. Louis County following a heroin bust.

The Duluth Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 8900 block of Edward Street on Monday. They said they found five grams of heroin, $5,460 in cash, and other evidence of drug sales.

Police said one man and one woman were arrested during the search. They said 22-year-old Jeremiah Daniel Clay, of Chicago, has been charged with 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. Demetria Alice Robinson, a 21-year-old of Duluth, was arrested on a local warrant and charged with Child Endangerment, they said.

Citizens with information about gang activity, violent crime and drug trafficking are encouraged to call the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force at 218-730-5750.
