The ice caves along Wisconsin's South Shore are having a record year of attendance, but you don't have to drive all the way there to see beautiful ice formations.

The solid ice on Lake Superior that's allowing folks to walk out to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is also allowing for a smaller experience in Duluth.

This cold winter has made the ice off Canal Park solid enough to walk out to the Cribs  the structure also known as Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum.

Folks who've walked out there have found some gorgeous images.

They are breathtaking, but remember ice is never completely safe. Check them out at your own risk.
