Created: 02/03/2014 10:44 PM WDIO.com

Several departments responded to a house fire in rural Duluth Monday afternoon.

The home, located at 5154 Washburn Rd. in Lakewood Township, was destroyed by the blaze.

There were no injuries reported, but the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office told our crew on the scene that the family that lives in the home is on vacation.

Firefighters were still putting out hot spots at 10 p.m. Monday night.

The exact cause is under investigation.
