Cloquet School Officials Seek Input on Facilities Plan

Created: 01/27/2014 11:00 PM WDIO.com

Cloquet school officials are asking for public input, before finalizing a major study on the needs of their buildings.

Engineers and architects have identified over $13 million in repairs and maintenance are needed at the middle school alone.

The biggest decision residents face is whether to make the repairs to the middle school or build a new facility.

About $2 million more in repairs and maintenance are needed at the district's other facilities.

There are three more meetings coming up to discuss the issue:

  • Monday, February 10th
  • Monday, March 3rd
  • Monday, March 31st

All meetings are located in the Cloquet High School Cafeteria and begin at 7:00 p.m.

They've also set up an online survey if you can't make it to a meeting, but still want to let them know what you think. For that, click here.
