Sides Hone Arguments in Minn. Vikings Stadium Case

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The government authority leading construction of the Minnesota Vikings stadium claims the lead plaintiff in a lawsuit to block it is trying to disrupt the project with "endless litigation" and is asking the state Supreme Court to shut him down.

Parties to the lawsuit over the stadium project are submitting a last flurry of briefs to the state's high court on Thursday. Stadium backers are asking the court to move quickly or the stadium's already tight construction schedule could be upset.

The lawsuit has already caused a delay in a $468 million bond sale.

The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority calls plaintiff Doug Mann a "serial litigant" making "meritless claims" against the stadium.

But in a separate filing, co-plaintiff David Tilsen says the state is guilty of "mismanagement and poor decisions."
