An Eveleth man has been charged with five crimes related to burglaries and car thefts.

Authorities say Garrett Sebastian Ryberg was arrested early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of 4th Street West for a vehicle in the ditch. At the same time, a woman reported her car being stolen out of her garage next door.

Ryberg allegedly got stuck in a ditch with a third stolen vehicle.

Ryberg is charged with two counts of Third Degree Felony Burglary and three counts of Felony Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Eveleth Police want to remind everyone to make sure all garages, houses, and cars are locked.
