Majoring in Debt: UMD Response

We are working hard to ensure that UMD students get an excellent value out of their investment. UMD has 96% of graduates reporting employment or continuing education within a year from graduation, and one of the lowest student loan default rates in the nation.

UMD has also launched a financial literacy program to help guide students as they make decisions related to educational expenses, loans, credit, and other debt.
