Update: 2 Injured in Shooting Range Accident

Two people are injured after a shooting accident at the United Northern Sportsmen Conservation Club in Duluth, according to authorities.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, a rifle malfunctioned at the shooting range on Rice Lake Road just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies said the shooter, 34-year-old John Kubiak, suffered an injury to his thumb and powder burns to his hands when his rifle exploded. Authorities said the rifle bolt then flew back and injured 61-year-old David Shrader, who was standing behind Kubiak. Scrader suffered a possible contusion to his chest.
Both were treated by first responders at the scene, but according to authorities, both refused to be brought to the hospital.
