Four people were injured when one vehicle rear-ended another in Hibbing.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevrolet GMT Pickup was parked at a red light on Highway 169 at 11th St. Authorities say that at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 77-year-old Warren Nordeen rear-ended the pickup.
Nordeen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was kept overnight.
The three passengers in the vehicle that was rear-ended — 21-year-old Austin Johnson of Marathon, Wis., 41-year-old Marjorie Surface of Chisholm, and 47-year-old Mary Lindgren of Chisholm — were all treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries.
