Hermantown school leaders and community members explained a long-range facilities plan to business owners Thursday afternoon — businesses that would be taxed if the referendum passes.
The school wants them to know what they'll get for their investment.
"What we're here today is to inform the chamber of commerce and business community about what our long-range plan is, and ask 'how can we work together for mutual benefit of all?'" said Hermantown Community Schools Superintendent Brad Johnson. "We do believe that strong, quality schools lead to people moving in, which leads to a vibrant community."
