Fifty-thousand dollars from Duluth's Tourism Tax Fund is going to the Great Lakes Aquarium, for the funding of a new exhibit.
Approved by Duluth City Councilors Monday, it's a local match to a $200,000 Minnesota Legacy Fund award.
The money will pay for a new exhibit that will look at the effect aquatic environments have on shipwrecks.
