Duluth Police say a 22-year-old man was arrested after shaving his head in an alleged attempt to evade authorities after a disturbance.
Officers responded to 12th Avenue East and 4th Street just before 11 p.m. Wednesday and observed a male with shaggy hair standing in front of a residence with a rifle. Police say the male complied with an order to drop the rifle and then fled inside the residence.
Officers later went to the residence and found a man in bed who appeared to be the suspect, but a police press release said he "had little hair on his head." They obtained a search warrant and found cut hair, scissors, and clothing matching the suspect's description.
The suspect is expected to face charges including fleeing an officer on foot.
