Duluth's Bayfront Festival Park is getting artsy over the weekend.
Organizers said over 15,000 people are expected to attend the annual Art in Bayfront Park event over the weekend.
More than 170 artists set up at the event, but the Best in Show award went to only one of them.
"That was a big surprise," said winner Thomas Lott. "I still have a smile on my face."
Lott is a self-described jeweler and designer. He said he makes jewelry from nontraditional materials.
"As long as you can't see it anywhere else, I'll have it here," he said. "Meteorites. Some great stone I just found here in your town. I went up and sliced it up."
Art in Bayfront Park continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
