A disabled elderly man told us on Friday that his scooter had been stolen from the Miller Hill Mall.

71-year-old Jawaid Mian, who works at KBF Uniforms, says teenagers have pushed his scooter across the mall in the past, but this time it was nowhere to be found.

"If it's a joke or something, I don't think this is a joke," Mian said. "It's sickness of somebody to deprive my scooter of a handicap person"

But, this story has a happy ending.

After this story aired on Eyewitness News at 6, a viewer called in to report that they saw an abandoned motorized scooter in the Party America parking lot. Jawaid's daughter went to investigate, and confirmed that it was his scooter.

Jawaid says he is very grateful for the help.
