Voters in the Moose Lake School District will have a say in a potential new school on Tuesday.
The district is proposing a $33 million dollar bond referendum to pay for a new school. It would sit on the hilltop as you enter town from the south on land the district already owns.
School leaders say the current building is outdated. There are also issues with parking and concerns about the long-term implications of last year's flood. The brochure on the school website says the tax impact for a $100,000 home would be about $28 per month.
Voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Moose Lake school gym.
