An elderly man was killed after colliding with a logging truck near Two Harbors on Thursday afternoon.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said on Sunday that the man killed was 85-year-old Herbert Kragseth of Two Harbors.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said they received a call of a two-vehicle crash on County Highway 12 at the intersection of Holm Road just north of Two Harbors.
On the scene, responders found the crash between a tractor trailer logging truck and a pick-up truck.
A 48-year-old man was driving the tractor trailer and was not injured. Kragseth, behind the wheel of the pick-up, was pronounced dead on the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
