Virginia Car Crash Puts Hibbing Man in Hospital

A Hibbing man was taken to the hospital after the car he was driving vaulted off a snowbank and rolled.
The accident happened after 2 p.m. Sunday on Highway 53 and 18th Street North in Virginia.
Troopers with the Minnesota State Patrol said 67-year-old Michael Marconett of Hibbing hit a snowbank in the median. That's when the car vaulted off the bank and rolled.
Marconett was the only person in the car and was taken to a Duluth hospital for his injuries.
As of Sunday night, hospital officials said Marconett was stable at St. Lukes in Duluth.
