nullAuthorities in Ashland are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery call on Wednesday night.

The Ashland Police Department posted on their Facebook page that they responded to the call at the Sixth Street Market on the 1400 block of 6th Street West around 11 o'clock.

Authorities said they spoke with the clerk who told them a male entered the store just before closing and demanded money from the cash register while pointing a silver semi-automatic pistol at him.

The clerk gave the male an undisclosed amount of cash and he then left on foot, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as a while male, about 6'1" tall with blonde hair. Authorities said he had a light colored bandana over his face and was wearing a green jacket, white gloves, blue jeans and white shoes with black stripes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ashland Police Department at 715-682-7062.
