Beargrease, Day 2: Greger Wins Mid-Distance

Duluth, Minn. - This year's champ has been racing dogs since she was six years old and legally, she's not even an adult yet. But, Jenny Greger is something that all other adults aren't: the 2013 John Beargrease Mid-Distance Champion.
The 17-year old from Bozeman, Montana finished first, crossing over with a time just under six hours and 53 minutes. She also competed in the Junior Iditarod last month, finishing third. Greger says the Beargrease Trail was great and her dogs gave it 110 percent.
"We did really good and the dogs ran awesome. I am so proud of them. They did really good and were really fast and really strong. I finished with the whole team and they just always amaze me everyday," says Greger.
